COUTINHO EYEING SENSATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN

Barcelona’s attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is reportedly willing to make a return to the Premier League years after leaving England for Spain, according to reports. The Brazilian midfielder left English Premier League giants Liverpool some years ago to seal his dream move to Camp Nou but his career has gone down the slope since then. Before Coutinho left Liverpool, he was their best player at Anfield and was one of the best attackers in the Premier League as well. However, he had his head turned after Barcelona came knocking on the door to take him to Spain. Liverpool intended to keep him for at least one more season but the player already had his mind made up and he was sold for around £150 million.

Following his move to Barcelona, Coutinho dropped in form and lost his spot in the starting eleven. His poor form saw him relegated to the substitute’s bench and it all happened so fast for the Brazilian playmaker. He has since had a loan spell at German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as he was no longer useful at Barcelona. His loan move to Germany was a much-needed one and it brought back his confidence a little and he scored a couple of goals for the Bundesliga champions as well, including two in the Champions League against his parent club, Barcelona.

But the story has remained the same following his return to the Catalan Giants as he continues to remain on the sidelines. According to the latest reports, Coutinho could be set to return to the Premier League, but not to his former club. Arsenal are said to be interested in signing the former Liverpool man and Roma are also keen to sign him as well but he would prefer a return to England.
