West London giants Chelsea have bagged their first Champions League victory at the third time of asking following their emphatic win over Italian Serie A side AC Milan in Group E. The Rossoneri were on the end of a big defeat at the hands of Chelsea when the two teams met in London this week. Chelsea were without a win in their first two Champions League games before the 3-0 victory over AC Milan.

Chelsea came into the home game with AC Milan on the back of just a solitary point from two matches. In their first game in Group E, Chelsea were handed a 1-0 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian city of Zagreb. Croatian star Miroslav Orsic scored the only goal of the match in the first half to give Dinamo Zagreb an impressive victory over their Premier League opponents. It was the last game for German tactician Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea manager before he was sacked and replaced by Graham Potter. Continue reading
